Abstract

The formulation of the problem is whether there is an influence of the baper method (multiplication bar) in solving multiplication problems on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiah Negeri 1 Wakatobi with the aim of knowing that there is an influence of the BAPER (Multiplication Bar) method in solving multiplication problems on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiah Negeri 1 Wakatobi. This research uses quantitative research methods and the design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design. In this study had a population of 60 students and the sampling used was cluster rondom sampling for sampling into several groups based on categories or natural characteristics. The sample used was 20 for experimental classes and 20 students for control, the instruments used in this study were instruments in the form of essay question tests, in this study data processing was divided into 2, namely prerequisite tests where there are normality and homogeneity tests, then is a hypothesis test with the test used is an independent sample test. From the results of research and discussion of the significant value of the independent sample test showed a value of 0.000 > of 0.05, it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence from the BAPER (Multiplication Bar) method on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiah Negeri 1 WAKATOBI.
