The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement infourth grade at SD Negeri 4 Wameo.This study was a quantitative research. The population instrumen used a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used wa simple regression analysis .the correlation value in this study showed that students' matematics learning motivation did not to have a positive relationship with fourt grade students’ mathematics learning achievement at SD Negeri 4 Wameo in the 2021/2022 academic year. Meanwhile, based on hypothesis testing, it was known that the value of sig. This research is a qualitative research and the approach used is a descriptive approach that aims to describe the students' ability to solve story problems in learning mathematics on number pattern material in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Buton, where the number of research subjects are all students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 11 Buton for the 2021/2022 school year. The instruments used are observation sheets, tests, and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques used in this study were the implementation of observations, tests, and interviews. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of learning mathematics by using learning videosi on the motivation to learn mathematics in class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau.This research is a guantitative research with a quasi-experimental design method. The population in this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year whiich consisted of 9 class and the samples used were clas VII.8 and VII.9, totaling 58 student using cluster random samplinh technique. Collecting data in this study used a questionnaire on students’ motivation to learn mathematics. The data obtained were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test.Based on the result of the study, it was conculuded that the t<sub>count</sub> value was 3,43 and t<sub>table</sub> value was 2,003 at a significant level of 5% with df 56<sub>. </sub>Thus, the t<sub>count</sub> > t<sub>table</sub><sup>, </sup>then H<sub>0</sub> was rejected. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of self-confidence on mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Buton Tengah. This research was an ex-post facto research. The population in this research were all students of VIII grade as SMP Negeri 1 Buton Tengah which consisted of 5 classes. The sample was taken as much as 20% of the total population using random sampling tachniques at SMP Negeri 1 Buton Tengah. Data collection techniques in research used a questionnaire. Based on the result of calculations using simple regression, the linear regression equation was obtained: Y = 73.108 + 0.071X. with a t value of 0.528,it was significant at 0.602>0.05. This indicuted that H<sub>0 </sub>was accepted, or H<sub>1 </sub>was rejected. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan, Lasalimu Selatan District, Buton Regency with the sample of this research being all class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan, totaling 32 students using a descriptive method whose main concern was the results of students' mathematics tests on the subject of fractional operations. From the results of the analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the difficulties faced by the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan in solving fractional operations problems are the difficulties of concepts, principles, and skills. Concept difficulty with 17 errors and a large percentage of about 13.08%, principle difficulty with 24 errors and a large percentage of about 18.46%, and skill difficulty with 59 errors and a large percentage of about 45.38%. The subjects of this research were all multiple-choice tests made by the teacher for the final even-semester test for class VIII students in the 2020/2021 academic year in the field of mathematics subject at 7 state Junior High School in Baubau City. The Instruments in this research were student answer sheets, answer keys and recapitulation of student criteria at grade VIII. Data collection techiques used documentation techiques. Analysis of the data used was using the SPSS Statistic application version 26. Based on the results of the research, it could be concluded that, the results of the analysis of the validity of the test made by the teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Baubau of 0.684 which meant the validity was in the fairly good category, SMP Negeri 3 Baubau was 0.770 which meant the validity was in the good category, SMP Negeri 5 Baubau was 0.491 which meant the validity was in the good enough category, SMP Negeri 7 Baubau of 0.404 which meant the validity was included in the category of good enough, SMP Negeri 9 Baubau of 0.439 which meant the validity was in the category of good enough, SMP Negeri 11 Baubau of 0.434 which meant the validity was in the category of good enough, SMP Negeri 17 Baubau was 0.611 which meant that the validity was categorized as good enough. The objective of this research was to know the effectiveness of students’ creative thinking reviewed from the mathematics connection in solving problem at SMP Negeri 7 Buton Tengah. This research was experimentalresearch. Population in this research was all grade VIII SMP Negeri 7 Buton Tengah. Sample in this research was taken by using random sampling technique with 44 students consisted of class VIII A as experimental class and VIII B as control class in which each classes consisted of 22 students. Instrument used in this research was test. Research outcome obtained showed that: (1) the result of students’ mean score in pre-test in experimental class was 66.59, while in control class was 62.27. (2) the result of students’ mean score in post-test in experimental class was 80.45, while in control class was 70.68. From hypothesis test result by using t-test, obtained t-count = 3.403 and significant value p = 0.039. Population in this research was all student at grade III of SD Negeri 1 Kambowa which consisted of two classes III<sub>A</sub> and III<sub>B</sub> with the number of students was 58. Data in this research were obtained using test of math subject.</em></p> <p><em>Result of the research obtained: 1) mean score of learning achievement of math at experimental class before research conducted was 68,96; 2) mean score of learning math at experimental class after being taught by thematic learning model as 86,03; 3) mean score of learning math at control class before research conducted was 65,17; 4) mean score of learning math at control class after being taught by direct learning model was 77. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Napier rods teaching aids on student achievement at SD Negeri 2 Bataraguru. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method. The research data were analyzed using the average difference test, but previously a descriptive analysis of inferential analysis was carried out which consisted of a prerequisite test, namely the normality test and the homogeneity test. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the test score for the experimental class was 76.50, and the average test score was 52.00 for the control class and based on the results of inferential analysis by looking at the normality test, the significant value of the test results in the experimental class was 0.134 and the significant value of the class test. control is 0.200, while the homogeneity test in both classes of student test results shows a significant value of 0.786> 0.005, so it can be said that the two classes are homogeneous. By using the t-test, the significant value is 0.000 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected.
